Press Conference in Week 8

Dear Political Parties in 2E1

Please note that a press conference will be scheduled next week. The exact date will be announced on Monday morning. By the way, there is a possibility that the press conference will be held on Monday itself.

Presidential candidates, please prepare your cabinet for the press conference as well as to answer any questions during the press conference. Please observe the rule of no personal attacks during the press conference. The image of your party will be penalized if you stray from the rules and norms of an election campaign.

To date, we have 3 political parties. If NPFPP is unable to form a cabinet by next Monday, candidate Rasyid can consider running the election as an independent. All parties as well as the independent candidate will have 10 minutes to air their views during the press conference. It is the best chance to raise the profile of your political party. We will have the presidential debate on Week 9 and the election will be held on Week 10.

EDP™ would like to congratulate Rasyid for making a new party. This marks the new beginning for NPFPP.

Back to business....

NPFPP indirectly says that everyone would not be controlled if they are elected.
However, EDP™ think that his idealogy would not work. Firstly, everyone is being controlled. That is just the way we have been living for our entires lives. Rules are created so that we can lead a peaceful live. Without rules, all of us would not be leading the peaceful life we are having currently.

Secondly, NPFPP says that there would be more outings. But NPFPP should consider the number of people coming. If there are a lot of outings, less than 1/4 of the class would attend. 1/4 of the class isn't called 2E1! Therefore, it is not a class outing. If you win this election, everything you do should be for the benefit of 2E1. Please do not take advantage of your power and make unnecessary 'class' outings whereby less than 1/4 would attend.

Rasyid(playsident of NPFPP) also states that AJ and Jia Yuan are in NPFPP. But both of them, AJ and Jia Yuan denies it. It seems like the playsident is making false statements!

So, can this new playsident be trusted? Is he doing anything to benefit 2E1? Can his idealogy be accepted by 2E1? EDP™ hopes that 2E1's votes would not fall into the wrong hands.

Mistakes

Okay azfar i would have to protect my vice president about the usage of singlish. What mistake did vp shahira make? You tell me.I mean I agree that singlish is improper but it does not mean we have to ban it from class. You also say singlish right?We do not need to sacrifice our rights to have enjoyment! EDP was 'laughing out loud' when Shahirah posted that we got the wrong impression of her post. In Shahirah's previous she stated that 'singlish is our culture'. Now, she is accusing us of having a wrong impression of the her.

2E1! Listen up! This is the perfect scenario whereby one does not want to admit his/her mistake. Shahirah is the perfect example for this scenario. As a vice-president, she needs to be responsible for her own words. She had denied what she had said. She is currently lacking a quality that everyone should have. At this rate, she would not make a good leader for 2E1.

Azfar's personal message to Shahirah: I am sorry for posting late. I have regretted my mistakes. It would not happen again.

EDP thinks that that we should always apologise for your mistakes and learn from it. NOT denying what you did!

Shahirah also stated that she was using proper english in her previous post. But, she did not use capital letters to start a sentence. Using 'i' instead of 'I' is not proper english. How can a vice-president not differentiate between proper and improper english. Please get your basics right. Would 2E1 like a vice-president that do not even know what is proper english?

Lastly, Shahirah stated that if she uses a voice-recorder, she would catch me using 'singlish'. BUT, as I have said in my previous post, there are times when you need to use proper english, and there are times where you don't.

It seems like the vice-president of SPPE1 have flaws that need to be amended. Please do not make your votes go to waste.

It seems like all the other parties are gathering all their strength to fight against EDP. EDP warns the rest of the parties that they will need more than just two team to bring EDP down.

We would like to congratulate Shahirah for being the vice-president SPPE1. All the best in campaigning.

But the fact that Shahirah had promoted something wrong had attract our attention. She promotes speaking 'singlish'. She should take note that we are representing our teams. Using 'singlish' would give a bad impression on our teams. Even though almost everyone in Singagpore uses 'singlish' that does not mean that we should use it everywhere. There is a limit to our cultures. When it comes to us going to other countries, they would not even understand a word we are saying. I am sure that 'singlish' does not exist in other countries. There are times that we must use proper english. Especially when it comes to this election. Surely, there is a reason why Mr Chin had paid a team for actors to promote proper english in our school a week after Racial Harmony Day. We should set a good example. We should show 2E1 that we are capable of speaking proper english.

Shahirah also stated that she could not take other parties criticizing her party. Firstly, as a vice-president, you should know that in this election, we are able to point out other's mistakes and weakness. You should just accept it and correct your mistakes. How can an important member of a party not know this basic rule!

I think that 2E1 show vote for a party that knows what are the right stuff to promote and what not to promote. Furthermore, nothing could lead by a vice-president(SPPE1) that does not even know the basic rule of this important election.EDP suggest that SPPE1 should teach their vice-president more about this upcoming election. I hope your precious votes would not fall into the wrong party. Your votes will mean a lot to EDP.

Pee Limin- The current Moral Class Leader of 2E1. We find that she is very efficient in what she does. She is also the vice-president of the Dance Socierty. Surely, there is a reason why the teachers chose her to be a class leader and the vice-president of the dance society. She has strong leadership qualities. This is just the type of people 2E1 needs so that we can have a memorable class outing. She will do everything to help 2E1 at all cause. She will be the minister of education for EDP™. She will be promoting studies in the class. This is an important year. If we do not do well, it will affect our entire life. This is another factor to consider other than the class outing.

Kalai Priya- She will be the secretary of EDP™. She will be providing homework reminder services. People do forget at times no matter how good you are. So, there is no harm providing homework reminders. Therefore, 2E1 can depend on EDP™ for reminding you for yours daily tasks. Priya would also advise the party on what to do.

Reason for Aziemah quiting Team Aziemah:
Aziemah felt that she was abandoned by her vice-president, Tay Kai Wen. She only wanted to help her team. As a team, you should learn to work together. Not abandone each other. That would not work for 2e1. As a team, you should also always support your team members.

Citizens Of 2E1
Richard Han stated we converted into democratic party without our own iniative. But please, EDP™ suggest that Richard should come up with some solid evidence before accusing us of such a thing. We only wanted to be communists because we wanted to try something new. Some thing that had never been done before. Since that the election commitee said that no communism allowed, we then converted into a democratic party. Please do remember that both the ideology is for the benefit of the class.

For EDP™'s mistake against Aziemah, we are really sorry. We do not mind apologising to the whole group in front of the class.

Richard also said the we are still communist till we apologise to Aziemah in front of the whole class. EDP™ wants to remind Richard Han that the election commitee is Ms Zhang.... NOT RICHARD! Ms Zhang had ALREDY converted us into a democratic party.

Lastly, EDP™ were curious about certain stuffs. Firstly, since when was there Peace Constitution? Noboby voted for it. Secondly, over the past few post, it was stated that Richard Han from 2E1 was working with Tay Kai Wen and Aziemah for a better future in 2E1. But Richard ended his message saying that he is not siding any party.

A few question aroused: Can this unofficial Peace Constitution be trusted? Or is Richard using propagandas to ensure a win in the upcoming elections?

This had attracted EDP™'s attention. IF Richard is using propagandas, it would give a bad impression to Tay Kai Wen as he is currently partnering with Richard Han. This would result in a fall of the Team Kevinsion.

If they were to win the upcoming elections, 2E1 would be led by poeple who are playing dirty to win the elections. This means that 2E1 would not have a brighter future. Please vote for the right party. I believe that you guys can think through this.

Behold To The Citizens Of 2E1,
This is my very first time posting on this blog. I only appear when crisis arise. As ECP has declared democracy on his party, they did it as the class is strongly against Communism. It is not according to their initiatives of their party. This might also leads to the disastrous effect of the future. And the matter of fact that they've made a personal attack against us. It's already an break-off rule for the elections. This apology is still not enough. They must apologize the opposition members in front of people. Or else apology unaccepted! But, we don't find anything wrong about being challenging and having a fighting spirit in us. The election commitee said the one can point out a party's weakness. So, why not? EDP™ was firing ONLY at Team Aziemah because parties like KJK were stagnant. Those parties would not even cause any threat. We are glad that Koh Jing Kheng and Tay Kai Wen had join forces for a better future for 2E1. But EDP™ warns SPPE1 that they will need much more than 2 specialists to bring EDP™ down. For the class outing, EDP™ would want to be special. As in, doing something we had not done before. Jun Xiang and I had already come up with some unique ideas on how the class outing would be like.

For now, EDP™ wants your creative suggestions for the class outing. If we win the upcoming elections which is on 15 September, this ideas and suggestions will help us a lot as it prevents us from organising the class outing at the last-minute and so that we would not eat into the Form Teacher period. This way, precious time would not be wasted.
Some keypoints to suggest for the class outing:

• Where? If possible, make sure everyone can make it. We would not be called 2E1 without all 41 of us. This is what makes 2E1 special. All 41 of us have different personality. For example: Dominic Low is a gamer. (EDP's personal message to Dominic Low: Dude! You are cool man! You can play games like no other! Nice nickname by the way.) This is the reason why we stand out from the rest of the classes. 2E1 is UNIQUE! Eg. Chalet? I am quite sure less than 3/4 would attend the class outing. Most importantly, Ms Zhang and Ms Liauw would most probably attend from noon to evening. So please choose wisely.

• What activites? Make sure it would be fun and every plays it. It does not have to be physical. True or dare would be fun. I am sure that everyone is fine with that.

Please post or tag your creative suggestions. EDP™ would be more than willing to accept your opinions. We will ensure ensure a memorable outing. All EDP wants is for our sweet years toend with a nice and heart-warming outing.

But, he is not at all right. For Commuism, it is community first. It means the rulers have much more power than the citizens. Therefore, making the ruler unequal to the non-rulers.

Some words from the election committee aka Ms Zhang

Hi Enthusiastic Citizens of 2E1,
Your posts really jazz up the class blog and the campaigning atmosphere in 2E1. A few things I would like to comment and clarify...

1) There is no need to do the summary. I will go through the summary in class. The homework list is
: Information report (handwritten, 300-500 words) to be handed in on Tuesday
: Formal Letter to be handed in on Wednesday
: History SEQ to be handed in on Friday
No extension of deadline.

2) I am very glad that Azfar's party has decided to adopt democracy. He has also put forth a very convincing argument why the citizens of 2E1 should vote for him. It is quite impressive and persuasive.
However his speech is also an example of the level of censorship we impose on presidential speeches and campaigning. You can point out what the other parties are not doing, you cannot use negative words (i.e. lazy) to describe them. No personal attacks on any candidates is allowed.

3) Thank you to Dominic Low for planning two class outings. It will be good if you notify D.Low if you are turning up for the bowling outing so he knows the number of people turning up. However rem to get your parents' consent first.
As for the 2nd outing, we shall have a discussion in class first. After all, we subscribe to the notion of democracy.

4) Perhaps Candidate Kaiwen might want to explain the idea of a coalition government to the citizens. It's a refreshing and effective strategy (but there are drawbacks too).

as some of you might remember, during the CLASS OUTING, not many people turned up.
Hence here are 2 cases to compensate for the lousy attendance rate.

1) Bowling at SAFRA Yishun, Monday, 10 August , from 3pm - 6pm . 2 lanes have been reserved.
2) BBQ at Changi Chalet, Tuesday, 8 September , time to be confirmed. My mum has booked the chalet from 7 Sept to 10 Sept, hence the date is adjustable.

All aforementioned events are of YOUR own cost. ( Eg. Food for BBQ and snacks at SAFRA, LAN games at the nearby arcade)

P.S If ANYONE of you wants to, you are free to stay OVERNIGHT at the chalet, PROVIDED you get your parent's approval / consent.
If you don't, and if they get angry at you, your loss. Not my fault :p

The E1 communist party has officially converted into E1's Democratic Party (EDP™). On purpose, we had put in the 'E1' in our party's name. We are emphasizing on the 'E1' to show our sense of care to 2E1 and how hard we would work just for the benefit of 2E1. We believe that we can change the lives you are having now. Election is on 15 september. Although the other parties are equally good,but, from my point of view, my vice-president (Mr Wong) and me can serve the class better than any other parties. We are currently competing against strong parties like Team Aziemah, so please, your votes would mean a lot to us. We ensure a unforgetfull and a meaningfull class outing. As this our last year together, Mr Wong and I would want to have the best class outing. I am quite sure that everyone wants it to be that way. We can then enjoy the class outing together. I will ensure that nobody is left out. If you have not realise, the president of Team Aziemah (which is Aziemah herself) did nothing so that her team would win the election. This proves that president of Team Aziemah does not care about the well-being for the class. In other words, she is a "lazy-president". As the president of Team Aziemah, she needs to have leadership quality. She is currently lacking in that important quality. I am sure that nothing could be lead by a lazy president. As you can see, Team Aziemah has been concentrating a lot on this campaining and had put in a alot of hardwork to ensure that they will win the upcoming election. BUT, they are forgetting the point that we are doing this for benefit of the class and for the class outing. They have been concentrating a lot on this "polictics stuff" and the point of enjoying this campaigning and the class outing had fade away from their mindset. Remember, we are doing this for the class outing so that everyone would at least have a sweet memory of our years together. I believe that the citizens of 2E1 are intelligent enough to vote for us. Please, do not make the wrong move, it would result in a major problem.

As the Elections for President takes place, I would hereby like to say that the next candidate who wins will be know as the 2nd 2E1 Generation Leaders. Dear presidential candidates of 2E1, please observe the following rules during your campaign for the Presidency Post.

(I) Democratic parties are allowed. Other parties of other ideas of ruling 2E1 are welcome to join, but must abide by the Howie Constitution.

(II) Civility must be observed. (No name-calling ; personal attacks) You are also not allowed to demean the reputation of your opponents. This will undermine the confidence of those voting for your party.

Our class have a chance of more political figures. I have devoted myself to History and Politics so if everyone wants to run for President and Vice-President, please call for me. I do wish that for those who are planning to run for President all the best, and I hope that I may be a Vice-President if they allow me to run for the top positions of the country together. If we did ever become President, Vice-President, most of the current 2E1 may have a chance to become Ministers, MPs and so on... It's a good chance now to start being political, and in AI, we might have the chance to become the first ever Political class. • Finish format of answering History SEQ questions
• Maths homework (2.3,2.4 & workbook questions)
• Finish your Science workbook B pg 61, 62 (qn 11 no need to do) ,63, 65 & 66
• Science Test next Friday. From Chapter 22 to 23
• Also memorise Science Handout 3 *note: both sides of Handout 3 are the same. So you either chose to memorise the first side or the second side
• Study on History SEQ question. If you forgot what is the question, ask your friends.
• Mother Tongue Homework (for CL pupils) pg 5, Q23,24,26,28&30
• For register no. 1-20 : Do your D&T research work, up to 6 pages
• Maths Test on Chapter 2 next week
• Next Tuesday History lesson will be changed to English lesson as today we had History instead of English. I am not completely sure about this. Ask Ms Zhang on Monday

(no offense) i am back from STONGHILL EXPEDITION, still alive! of course la.. generally, the whole expedition was great fun and we learnt lots of stuff. we bonded there, cried there, yes. we cried, at least for ME. cos we missed our parents! it was a 5 days 4 night expedition, 2 nights were on the train. stonghill is located at DABONG, KELANTAN, MALAYSIA. the details are in my blog, which you can find it linked in this class blog. or, go to www.axrr1234.blogspot.com warning: it might be boring and a bit confusing for some of you.

Hi Guys!!!
I'm back with all the other Leadership Development members from the recent Stonghill Expedition in Dabong, Kelantan. The whole Expedition is about perseverance, and even though the trek was bumpy and everyone fell countless times, I could only say it bond every member together and we did thought about the whole class and the teachers going there and supposed that the camp will be in a chaos.

we shouldnt really make so much noise anymore... it's just 21days away from exams and you need to focus. dun think that the tcher is not feeling well means you can make noise and interrupt the lesson. some of your friends (like me) are not good in maths and really need to listen to the teacher so pls co-operate and do a favour for yourself too- stop making noise and listen to the teacher.

Hi everyone!!! This is the first time i am posting on the blog. As 1e1 ppl know that we have a party for Miss Zhang and Miss Hu today,and we know that there will be games after that. But some of your wanna play water bombs onli... But games have rules rite? We played Frisbee, and the loser team will get ganna bombed. But y r some of u didn't follow the rules?



All we see today was some sadness. But we must cheer up. Although some of them didnt follow the rules, but we still have fun in the end. I knew that some of ur went back home early bcoz of the unhappiness before or during the game. But in the end, we still have fun rite? I really feel sori for those who didnt join in the fun... But I hope that our class will be as united as 1! And ofcoz Happy everyday. But the party was quite successful and thanks everyone for their time and corporation.

The pictures and videos are very funny... Today a few groups have acted a short show and it was pretty hilarious and my group was one of them, we acted 'The Hare And The Tortoise' and I think it was nicely acted.

Buying Toys At Causeway Point

Dear 1E1

Thank you for your donations and thank you to Aliyah, Aziemah, Jiayuan, Dominic Low and Howie for accompanying me to Causeway Point to buy the toys for the less privileged children. It's gratifying to see 1E1 rallying for a good cause. For the record, we spent $61.55 on 9 cuddly toys. We also bought wrapping paper and some coloured paper for 1E1 to write their well-wishes.
Hope to see more 1E1ians bringing their toys tomorrow. We'll be wrapping the toys in class at 7am tomorrow. Please come earlier if you are bringing the toys so we have time to wrap the toys. Here are some of the photos we took today.

yay! 3more posts and we will have 100 posts! erm, i watched a video during choir today and i tot of sharing it. i can't post it in the blog like the previous posts cos i dont know how to do it. here's the link:

it's basically about a male soprano. be prepared to get shocked cos his sings soprano which means the note is very high(not that high until it hurts. relax. :P). this video teaches us a lesson: we can do anything if we set out to achieve it. :)

1E1 Funds for Toy Collection

Dear 1E1

Aziemah has passed the class donations to me during the IT lesson. The class has contributed $20. Thank you for your generosity. 1E1 has done well! As mentioned, Ms Hu and I will contribute dollar for dollar. So we will have a total of $60 to buy the toys for the less privileged children. Tomorrow I will be going to the Popular in Northpoint to buy the toys at around 4pm. If you are free, you are welcomed to join. But please remember to inform your parents that you will be back late.

yay! i can see e1 improving. :) ms zhang is not that angry anymore. erm, just a quick update homework etc.

1. tmrw is ART EXAM. pls bring your A3 paper, COLOURPENCILS and other stationery which you may require. please ask to be released slightly earlier from IT lesson.
2. bring MATHS B book.
3. study for history test chapter 1-5. NOT 4-5. pls study your definitions too
4. REALLY study for SA2 cos e1 would like to move up to sec 2 AS A CLASS

i think that's all already. i will try to update homework whenever i am free. :)

erm, not pinpointing to anyone since this is a CLASS BLOG, just in addition to priya's post. ya. i know i am like a naggy auntie but it's all true. e1 needs to control noise level. just like today. when there is no relief teacher, pls dont take the opportunity to make noise, use hp and break the school rules. it's of no use and will only get you into trouble. i thank all the people who helped the leaders by keeping quiet. really appreciate it! :) although there is no maths today, no relief teacher, i think you all should do something quiet like reading or doing hw or wadever. oh. and congrats to angels of the week, heart of gold of the week, hercules of the week. you have made an effort to improve e1's culture :) so the main point of this post is: e1, please stop making so much noise and respect your leaders by d
